Information We Collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it to us. This happens in three separate ways on the Site, each described below:

1. Sign up for our newsletter

• First name
• Last name
• Email address

When you sign up for our newsletter, this information is submitted directly to Formspree, a third-party form service, which forwards it to us.

2. Express interest in facility naming opportunities

If you'd like to learn more about facility naming opportunities, our Site links out to a Google Form hosted by Google. Any information you provide there (such as your name, email, and details about your interest) is collected directly by Google Forms and shared with us. This is separate from and unrelated to making a donation.

3. Make a donation

• Name
• Email address
• Mailing address (if provided or required for receipts)
• Payment information (processed securely by our donation processor, Donorbox — see below)
• Donation amount and history

We do not collect personal information from visitors who are simply browsing the Site.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and acknowledge donations, including issuing tax receipts
• Send newsletters, updates, and communications about our programs and impact
• Track engagement with our communications (e.g., whether emails are opened) so we can improve how we communicate with supporters
• Maintain accurate donor and supporter records
• Comply with legal and financial reporting obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Service Providers

We work with the following third-party providers to operate the Site and manage our communications. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf:

• Donorbox — processes donations and payment information. We do not directly store or have access to full payment card details; these are handled securely by Donorbox and its payment processors.
• Salesforce — used to send newsletters and email communications, and to track engagement metrics such as open rates.
• Formspree — receives newsletter signup submissions (first name, last name, email) directly from our Site and forwards them to us, including into Salesforce.
• Google Forms — used to collect information from visitors interested in facility naming opportunities. When you click through to this form, you are submitting information directly to Google, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Double the Donation — powers the employer matching-gift search tool on our Ways to Give page. If you search for your employer, that query is sent to Double the Donation to check matching-gift eligibility.
• YouTube — we embed YouTube videos on some pages to share program and event highlights. Playing an embedded video may allow YouTube/Google to set cookies, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

We share only the information necessary for these providers to perform their services for us.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site does not currently use cookies or analytics tools to track your general browsing activity. We do use tracking pixels in the newsletters we send (via Salesforce) to measure whether emails were opened. Embedded YouTube videos may set their own cookies when played. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining donor records for tax and accounting purposes as required by law.

Your Choices

Email communications: You may unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly.

Access or deletion: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the email below, subject to any records we are legally required to retain (e.g., donation records for tax purposes).

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
